Damon Heath is a fashion photographer favoured by Nylon, Vanidad, Condé Nast and Stella. In April 2009 his work for Lula magazine with Hollywood siren Eva Mendes was voted by New York Magazine’s The Cut as The Best Celebrity Portrait.
Damon’s many commercial clients include J. Crew, Orla Kiely and Boots Optical and Beauty brands.
With artistic blood flowing through his veins, Damon’s eye for a great picture started with the moving image – his early career was forged with a feature film post-production company, and rapidly progressed to a role behind the camera, shooting music promos and adverts for major European artists and household brands.
While shooting showreels and promos for fashion designers such as Katharine Hamnett, Damon switched his allegiance to fashion and gave up 24 frames per second in favour of his love of the single image; creating beautiful and inspirational photography that has been the mainstay of his work ever since.
